Black spots

Anzac Pde Botany St High St

The Anzac Pde ramp is extremely narrow, and the large numbers of pedestrians waiting at the crossing make it particularly difficult to enter the uni from the road.

Botany St is busy and it’s hard to turn right out of the uni. The cobblestones make it that little bit harder.

The High St crossing from the Wansey Rd bike path is dangerous – there are 3 lanes of traffic to cross, and cars coming up High St and turning left into Wansey Rd often don’t stop or look for crossing cyclists. The traffic island on High St is also too small for a bike to fit. If you’re to use the pedestrian crossing on High St, you need to cross Wansey Rd and also watch out for traffic turning in from High St.
